At present the orchestra has around 30 members who come from all over Aberdeenshire. We cover most instruments but where necessary draft in extra guest players and soloists from the wider community for our concerts.<\/p>\n
PERFORMANCES<\/h3>\n
We normally stage three concerts a year in venues local to Aboyne and Banchory.<\/p>\n

- Autumn (November) – typically comprises light popular classics.<\/li>\n
- New Year (February \/ March) – a themed evening comprising classical repertoire.<\/li>\n
- Summer (June) – traditional classical pieces, usually including a concerto with a professional soloist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
